About

A narrow theater entrance worked into an older multi-story Broadway commercial building, marked by a tall vertical blade sign lettered "ASTOR THEATRE." The upper floors carried rows of round-arched windows; at the sidewalk an arched entrance and poster boards sat beside neighboring storefronts.

The Astor Theatre was a small downtown movie house at 7 North Broadway, occupying the ground floor of an older commercial building beside the Senate Theatre at 9 North Broadway.
