William C. Schaper

Architect to the Board of Public Schools of St. Louis. He appears in the board's officers lists for 1873-74 and 1874-75, giving his address as 1311 Biddle Street, succeeding Frederick Raeder in the post. No building has been attributed to him here: holding the office is not evidence of having designed a particular school, and no plans credit naming him has yet been found in the annual reports.
